founded in 2015, you might know heist* for their game-changing tights or their innovative shapewear, but they’re are about to break into the underwear world full throttle.

enter ‘the sheer collection’ from heist studios. created in a mission to liberate women from disappointing underwear, this everyday range has been designed to look, feel, AND perform, consisting of a bralette and four coordinating brief styles. perhaps the most exciting part about this collection is that the knickers were co-created with 150 women from the heist community, so you know they’re going to be spot on.

Lab12 was a huge milestone for the heist brand, being their all-female in-house team that applies the immense research and innovation to underwear that has previously been seen in high performance sportswear. CO.LAB.12 is a future underwear initiative program, where heist collaborates with women to create garments that fit, feel and perform exactly how we want them to.

CO.LAB.12 invited 150 women across a broad range of sizes, body shapes, ages and ethnicities to work with them in designing the perfect underwear. the result of this incredible collaboration with women of different backgrounds is perhaps the most innovative and comfortable out there: beautiful, elevated underwear to suit

following the success of the first three styles, and demand for a low waist option, heist launched the thong. a new style which promises minimal coverage, and its versatile fit means that it can be worn on or above the hips for maximum comfort.

i know you’re all most excited to hear about the bralette*, and frankly i am too! i recently reviewed ‘the outer body’ from heist and was very pleasantly surprised, so i’m pleased to see that the same HeroPanel™ technology has been used in the bralette. it promises to “imitate the body’s natural support system (the fascia), giving you twice the support of biology, in a second skin”. the design of the bralette is simple and modern yet sexy and chic, made up of sleek opaque panels and sheer mesh trims in a seamless, clasp-free design. heist’s bralette is priced at £45 RRP, and is said to provide light to medium support, a natural lift, and an enhanced shape – but above all: total comfort.

currently available in black, the sheer collection is expanding this month with three summery colour-ways: sage green, berry purple and blush pink. each tone is said to have been crafted using expert colour theory to complement various skin tones and provide a pop of colour to every lingerie drawer.

personally, i can’t wait to see what these are like! as a 28G i could never permanently part with my underwired bras, but as working from home is becoming more commonplace with some lockdown restrictions still in place, i’m definitely living for my comfortable wire-free lingerie. would you give heist’s underwear range a try?
