[AD / pr sample] the ’asher’ lingerie set from cleo by panache was gifted to me in exchange for an honest review.
cleo by panache are one of my favourite D+ brands at the moment thanks to their super fun designs, gorgeous colours and range of styles – plus they make most, if not all, of their collections in a 28 band. yay!
they recently gifted me the new asher set in latte which i couldn’t wait to try. i’m always on the hunt for skin-tone sets, they’re some of my most worn due to their versatility and the fact they work under almost any outfit – especially white!
asher is set to replace marcie, which i admittedly haven’t worn since i was a couple of cup sizes smaller (and also wearing the wrong size…!) so it has a similar balconette structure to it. it feels quite full coverage on me, which is perfect for everyday when i want comfort and security. the cups are made in a 3 piece balconette shape with two layers of supportive mesh, giving a great lift from below with decent projection. the wires sit firmly yet comfortably against my ribcage and don’t slip down during the day.

it feels very true to size – i do get a little bit of gaping at the apex of the cup where it meets the strap, and it can feel a tad shallow when i’m swollen from hormones, but it is overall comfortable and well-fitting.
another thing i love about cleo’s designs is the 2 hook and eye clasps in 28G. i love the feeling of a deeper band and the support that comes with it, but sometimes i just want that thinner width. the band on this style fits well, though as my underbust measures 27” i found i had to clasp it on the middle hooks immediately (as opposed to the loosest books). it feels well constructed and not overly stretchy so i’m sure it will last for a long while before stretching out too much anyway.
the top of the cups are decorated with a gorgeous square embroidery, which is contemporary and stylish. it’s nice to see more and more simplistic, modernised designs like this – we don’t always want lace and ribbons and big bows – and the matching brief to this set has a cheekier rear cut with the front being made from a super sheer tulle.
asher is also available in black, and i’m holding out hope for it to come in some fashion colours like teal, purple or red. do you like the look of this new style from cleo by panache?
